Chapter 7 Non-NPC
Chapter 7 Non-NPC
Qiao Xiao: "Unlocking the shop will give you this ability?"
System: "The current system level is too low to answer questions that are beyond our cognitive scope."
Qiao Xiao took a deep breath: "Hmph, next time, could you just teleport me to Gu Jinghe's room?"
System: "Yes, host."
Qiao Xiao: "Then let's teleport back directly, and then teleport to his room."
The system message reads: "The number of times you can send a teleport each day is limited."
Qiao Xiao: "How many times?"
System: "Six times."
Qiao Xiao: "Then let's use it."
System message: "Transferring..."
Qiao Xiao returned to the bedroom. "Teleport to the marker point, next to Gu Jinghe."
System: "OK, host, transferring..."
Hiding in the closet, Gu Jinghe hugged his knees, curled up in a corner where he felt safe and secure. Even though the air inside was thin, he was willing to suffocate in it rather than return to the real world.
Suddenly, he heard a noise, like someone sitting on the bed.
His clear, ethereal eyes revealed fear. "Is it Mom? No, she wouldn't do this. Who is it?!" He trembled with fear.
Qiao Xiao asked softly, "Gu Jinghe, are you there?"
Gu Jinghe was slightly taken aback, feeling incredulous. Had his mother driven him to mental illness and caused him to hallucinate?
"Gu Jinghe?" The familiar voice pierced his ears once again.
Yes, it's her.
He opened the cabinet door uncertainly and peeked through a crack.
Gu Jinghe got up, stepped out of the closet, and asked, "What are you doing here? Mom, did I lock you in here too?"
At this moment, the moon was like a bright pearl wrapped in a dark blue sky. Qiao Xiao happened to block the light shining in from the window, and all Gu Jinghe could see was her figure, a dark shadow.
"Do you still recognize me?" Qiao Xiao asked doubtfully.
Gu Jinghe nodded, but the questions in his heart were like tangled threads, making it impossible for him to express them clearly in words. They were intertwined into a ball of yarn that he could not untangle.
Qiao Xiao approached him and directly reached out to grasp his wrist without the slightest hesitation.
"You're injured." Her tone was as flat as plain water.
Gu Jinghe tried to pull his hand away immediately, but found that he was no match for her and his wrist was still tightly held in her hand.
Gu Jinghe pleaded, "Please let me go."
Qiao Xiao loosened her grip, and Gu Jinghe took a few steps back with a sigh of relief, staring at her warily, equally puzzled by her behavior.
Qiao Xiao looked closely at the bandages on his body, noticed his movements, and chuckled to herself.
Sure enough, I don't know how to care about others at all.
Have you...eaten?
Gu Jinghe hadn't figured out what was going on, so he asked, "How did you get here?"
Qiao Xiao was taken aback: "Huh? It can even have normal logical thinking? That's interesting."
"How did I get in? Who else could have let me in besides your mother?"
Gu Jinghe: "Absolutely impossible!"
Qiao Xiao hates making up lies the most, and she is also the worst at making up lies.
"So how do you think I got in?"
Gu Jinghe pointed to the window behind her: "You climbed up from there."
Qiao Xiao clapped her hands and cheered: "Yes, brilliant! That makes more sense than what I said. That's right, I did climb up through the window."
She squinted, her face full of smiles.
Finally, she met someone interesting, my non-NPC Mr.
