Chapter 165 Enlightenment
Chapter 165 Enlightenment
Damn that stinking scar! He has someone he likes, yet he's still flirting with other people and deceiving others' feelings! Draco Malfoy walked angrily down the empty corridor, his footsteps echoing in the air. His face was gloomy, his lips were pressed into a straight line, and his eyes were flashing with sparks of anger.
He was stunned for a moment, a strange feeling welling up in his heart. Why did he care so much about whether Harry Potter liked someone? Was it just pure jealousy?
He shook his head, trying to dispel this strange thought. Who Harry Potter liked was none of his business, and he shouldn't worry about it.
However, the more Draco Malfoy tried to ignore the emotion, the stronger it grew.
He stopped, leaned against the cold stone wall, closed his eyes, and tried to calm his inner turmoil. However, the images in his mind became clearer and clearer - Harry Potter talking intimately with other girls, smiling, and even holding hands... Every detail stung him.
Draco Malfoy scratched his hair irritably and cursed under his breath: "I must be crazy..." He couldn't understand why he was upset about that stupid Potter.
There had always been competition and hostility between them, and they disliked each other. Even though their relationship had eased a lot later, it had never reached the point where they could talk about anything. But now, he was actually starting to pay attention to Harry Potter's love life. This was simply ridiculous!
Draco Malfoy sighed deeply and slowly opened his eyes. He knew he had to face reality and could no longer avoid his feelings.
Perhaps his feelings towards Harry Potter had gone beyond simple dislike and hostility, a discovery that left him confused and uneasy.
He gritted his teeth and decided to put aside these troubles for the time being and return to the dormitory to calm down.
He needs time to think and figure out what he really wants. Perhaps he needs to re-examine his attitude towards Harry Potter and find a healthier and more appropriate way to get along with him.
After all, they still have a long way to go and cannot always be troubled by such complicated emotions.
Draco Malfoy just wanted everything to return to normal. He didn't understand liking or loving, but he knew his parents would definitely not agree.
There is no need to talk about things that have no results.
After a quick shower, Draco Malfoy lowered the bed curtains under Blaise Zabini's surprised gaze and threw himself into the soft pillows and quilt.
He...seems to really like Harry Potter...
Draco Malfoy lay in bed, tossing and turning, feeling restless and unable to fall asleep.
His mind kept emerging with the heroic figure of Harry Potter on the court and his bravery in facing Voldemort.
These scenes made Draco Malfoy even more upset. He didn't understand why he fell in love with that Gryffindor boy.
"Maybe I just admire his abilities?" Draco Malfoy tried to give himself a reasonable explanation to comfort himself.
However, deep down in his heart, he knew that this was more than just admiration. In fact, his attention to Harry Potter had gone far beyond ordinary appreciation. From the very beginning.
Draco Malfoy closed his eyes tightly, trying hard to let himself fall asleep, but the images in his mind became clearer and clearer: Harry Potter always made physical contact with him intentionally or unintentionally... and after killing Voldemort, that hug where they could hear each other's heartbeats...
"I'm so annoyed, you stinky scar!" Draco Malfoy suddenly opened his eyes and waved his fists at the air viciously, as if he wanted to vent all the troubles in his heart.
He felt that his emotions were completely disrupted by Harry Potter and he couldn't control them. This feeling made him excited and scared. He didn't know how to deal with this feeling, nor did he know how the future would develop.
The next morning, Blaise Zabini looked at Draco Malfoy strangely. "Didn't you go to bed early last night? Why do you have dark circles under your eyes?" His inquiring gaze made Draco Malfoy very uncomfortable.
However, after hearing Blaise Zabini's words, Draco Malfoy immediately ran to the mirror and drank a bottle of beauty potion. He nodded in satisfaction only when the boy in the mirror became refined and noble again.
Malfoy's beauty cannot be missed! Even Harry Potter is not as important as his beauty!
Blaise Zabini was already accustomed to Draco Malfoy's obsession with appearance. What made him curious was what Draco Malfoy and the others had been up to yesterday. A glint flashed in his eyes. It must have been something very interesting.
They waited for Pansy Parkinson to finish cleaning up before going to the Great Hall for lunch. There were two Potions classes in the morning, taught by Slytherin and Gryffindor together.
Although I like Potions class very much, but after what happened last night, is it reasonable to let them attend class now? Draco Malfoy ate breakfast in a disjointed manner.
He glanced casually across the Gryffindor table.
Tsk, Scarhead and Weasley are going to be late again.
He hesitated, then took a sandwich and carefully wrapped it in a handkerchief.
Don't get him wrong, he just didn't want anyone to contradict his most respected dean because of hunger in his favorite Potions class.
Draco Malfoy and the other two followed the crowd out of the hall. Someone bumped into him, and Draco Malfoy lost his balance and fell towards the stairs.
"Draco!"
Pansy's voice is really sharp, Draco Malfoy thought inappropriately.
Then he realized it belatedly and closed his eyes in fear. He was most afraid of pain!
One second...two seconds...three seconds...
The expected pain didn't come, and he didn't fall down, but fell into a warm embrace. It was an embrace that was somewhat familiar.
"Are you okay? Draco." Hearing the familiar voice, Draco Malfoy opened his eyes cautiously, and saw Harry Potter's anxious face in front of him.
"It's okay..." He muttered to himself, looking at Harry Potter, a little absent-minded for a moment.
Only he knew how fast his heart was beating at that moment. He thought, he was finished.
Draco Malfoy opened his mouth, wanting to thank Harry Potter. "Thank you... ugh!" He suddenly felt a tingling sensation run through his body, and his legs suddenly lost strength. Fortunately, Harry Potter half-hugged him to prevent him from making a fool of himself in front of others.
...holding...him? A beautiful red tinge appeared at the corners of Draco's eyes, and he lowered his gaze to see Harry Potter's hands unconsciously rubbing his waist.
He thought of Qiu Zhang, Ginny, and Harry Potter's frivolous behavior, and his eyes grew redder. He couldn't even think of thanking her anymore. He raised his hand...
"Snapped!"
