The next morning, sunlight shone through the window into the room, illuminating a peaceful and warm atmosphere.

Since today is Saturday, it happens to be Zhou Yian's day off, and fortunately the time they agreed to meet is in the afternoon, so Zhou Yian dragged Ji Xiao to play until midnight, so that he got up late in the morning.

Zhou Yian got up first, washed up, and returned to the bedside. He gently picked up Ji Xiao, who was still in a daze, and carefully carried her into the bathroom, where he gently washed and dressed her. Finally, he carried Ji Xiao into the cloakroom.

Zhou Yian was busy in the kitchen, cooking two portions of wontons in red soup expertly. These wontons were made by Ji Xiao and her grandmother and brought back from the village, along with a small jar of kimchi made by her grandmother.

Not long after, Ji Xiao changed her clothes and walked out of the room. When she came out, she saw Zhou Yian coming out of the kitchen with two bowls of steaming wontons.

"Come and eat! Didn't you say you were hungry?" Zhou Yian put the bowl on the table with a smile, then pulled Ji Xiao to sit down with him.

Ji Xiao stared at the wonton in front of her. Just smelling the aroma made her even hungrier. She couldn't wait to pick up the spoon and scooped up a wonton into her mouth without hesitation.

"Hmm, delicious..." Ji Xiao sighed indistinctly while eating with big mouthfuls.

Zhou Yian couldn't help laughing as he watched Ji Xiao wolfing down her food. He also reminded her, "Eat slowly, be careful not to burn yourself."

"Yeah, I know." Ji Xiao responded without raising her head.

Ji Xiao finished the last wonton contentedly, burped loudly, and then leaned lazily back in the chair.

"When are we leaving?" she asked lazily, patting her belly.

Zhou Yian thought for a moment and replied, "Please check if there is anything you need to bring. I'll go pack up the dishes and we'll set off soon."

Ji Xiao closed her eyes and recalled carefully, and it seemed that nothing was missed.

"I don't need to bring anything. We can leave when you are better." She said cheerfully.

After getting Ji Xiao's affirmative answer, Zhou Yian stood up and began to clear the dishes on the table.

After everything was ready, Zhou Yian took Ji Xiao's hand, took the car keys and went out.

Not long after they arrived at the agreed location, Wang Xiufang and Fang Yuan also arrived. Wang Xiufang was wearing a set of sportswear that was convenient for movement, while Fang Yuan was wearing a set of casual clothes. Behind them were their respective families, the children were jumping and playing, and the adults were smiling and greeting each other.

When Ji Xiao saw them coming, she immediately went to greet them with a smile on her face. She greeted Wang Xiufang and Fang Yuan, and then the two sides formally got to know each other. Then, everyone started a pleasant conversation, and the atmosphere was relaxed and harmonious.

Afterwards, the group prepared to arrive at their destination, which was a large farm with a restaurant inside and a beautiful natural scenic area outside, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The air is fresh, the trees are lush, and it feels like being in a green ocean; the colorful flowers dotted in it are like a gorgeous oil painting. Such a beautiful scenery makes people feel relaxed and happy, as if all the troubles can be thrown behind.

Along the way, everyone talked and laughed, sharing the little interesting things in life. Ji Xiao and Zhou Yian held hands and admired the beautiful scenery around them.

After finally reaching the destination, everyone walked along the mountain path. There was soft grass under their feet, the rustling of leaves in the breeze in their ears, and the blue sky above their heads. Everything seemed so peaceful and tranquil.

Before we knew it, lunch time had arrived. We sat together and tasted the various delicacies here. The children excitedly discussed what they had just seen and heard, while the adults chatted and laughed while eating.

After lunch, they decided to go boating together. The lake was sparkling and the breeze was blowing, giving people a refreshing feeling. Everyone rowed the boat, admiring the reflections in the lake and the mountains in the distance, as if they were in a fairyland.

Then they tried fishing. Although they didn’t catch much, the process was full of fun.

In addition, there are many interesting outdoor activities. Ji Xiao and Zhou Yian played all the activities there.

In the evening, the sun gradually set in the west, and a gorgeous sunset glow appeared on the horizon. When they finally said goodbye, the two did not follow the crowd back to the city, but drove directly back to the village. After all, it was only a dozen minutes away, and they could have dinner with grandma after returning.

From that day on, whenever Zhou Yian had free time, he would take Ji Xiao out shopping, eating, watching movies and dating, or go back to the village to stay with his grandmother for a few days, or take his grandmother to the city to stay for a few days and then escort her back.

Even on Ji Xiao's birthday, the two returned to the village to celebrate with her grandmother; mainly because her grandmother didn't like living in the city, so Zhou Yian and Ji Xiao often traveled between the city and the countryside.

As for Zhou Yian's parents, they only visit them and have meals with them on weekends, but they do not stay overnight.

As time goes by, the feelings between Ji Xiao and Zhou Yian become deeper and deeper, and they understand each other better.
