Chapter 1550 Didn't we tell you who we are?

The king was bored to death. He was not an undead creature who liked to sleep. Usually, he would shout that he was going to kill people, but when there was no one to kill, he would rather cultivate a few small vegetable gardens in the Palace of Rest and summon a few little skeletons to grow vegetables for fun than go into a deep sleep.

When he first learned that there were other worlds beyond the main plane, his reaction was excitement. He was willing to abandon his already broken through Black Crystal body and send himself to the Starburst Plane to start anew.

After Ang dealt with the Ancient Divine Light, his first reaction was to ask Ang to throw him out, break through the energy level desert, and start over in the Divine Light Alliance.

Essentially, a monarch is that kind of restless old fellow who's always thinking about making some big moves.

However, these ten years almost suffocated him. Apart from the yet-to-arrive Gmezburg and the far-off Migratory Starmen, the entire Endless Land was almost Ang's territory. He didn't know where to find anyone to kill if he wanted to.

So during this time, he stayed in the body of the Star Migrator, trying to find some new fun.

Although he had gained quite a bit, it was all rather small stuff. Now, upon hearing that Ang had opened a rift in the barrier, his first reaction was: "I want to get out!"

After giving a few instructions, he severed his soul connection with Locke, then went to the triangular gap and found everyone outside. In his anxiety, he clung to the gap and shouted.

"Oh, it's you, you old codger? Your head is too big to fit in here, what a pity. You should just stay at home." Negris finally got a chance and immediately started teasing.

Can you call that a big head? A skull's skull has no skin, flesh, or tendons; it's completely smooth.

"Ang, open it wider, just enough for me to squeeze my head through. I'll disassemble the bones and stuff them in," the king said urgently.

Ang scratched his head in confusion, crawled back in, opened the Gate of Boundless, and tilted his head to look at him.

The king blushed: "Haha, the Gate to Boundless is usable now? Why didn't you say so sooner, you brat? Really!"

After saying that, he went inside and came out from the other side of the Gate of Boundless Space.

The Gate of Boundless only prevents passage through the main body of the God Star; other objects can pass through it quite easily.

In fact, the main body of the divine star could also travel there, but the consumption would be too great, making it somewhat not worth the effort.

The other end of the Gate of Boundless was shrouded in black mist. As soon as the king stepped out, he immediately sensed something, took a deep breath, and a large amount of black mist rushed into his head through his nostrils.

Don't be fooled by the fact that a skeleton's nasal cavity and eye sockets are holes; only when it devours the soul fire of other undead creatures can soul energy enter the skull so smoothly.

Other things, such as impure soul energy like the aura of death, cannot directly enter the cranial cavity. This is similar to the blood-brain barrier in humans, which is a protective mechanism.

The king took a deep breath of the black mist and his spirits lifted: "Such powerful soul energy."

"Is this soul energy? Can you absorb it directly?" Negris asked doubtfully.

“Yes, this black mist is even stronger than the Chaos Mist, with an energy density at least three times higher,” the king said.

"Can you control all this black mist as you do in the Chaos Realm?" Negris asked.

If we consider the chaotic mist as the corpse of a divine star, then manipulating the chaotic mist is equivalent to manipulating the corpse. The monarch used this to control the chaotic mist throughout the entire chaotic plane and condense it into the original body.

If a monarch could do the same now, condensing a new primordial body, would his strength increase significantly?

The king shook his head: "How is that possible? The chaotic mist in the Chaos Realm was ownerless back then, but now these black mists all have someone else's aura. It's too difficult to control them, and there's just too much of them."

The chaotic mist in the chaotic plane is actually very small; it just spreads out and appears to be a lot. In reality, when gathered together, it might only be a fraction of the size of the Little Fire God Star.

However, the total amount of black mist here is dozens of times that of Little Fireman God Star, and even if it is unclaimed, the monarch cannot control it.

"Then can you devour it? To strengthen your soul?" Negris asked.

"That's possible, but whose black mist is this? If I absorb it, will others try to kill me?" the king asked eagerly.

Looking at his posture, Negris wondered if he was afraid of being killed.

“He is now a subject of Ang, don’t overthink it,” Negris said irritably.

At this moment, Anthony interjected, "Your Majesty, I was just about to ask for your help. Two Starborn just passed by here. They were sent by another branch. I would like to ask you to take action and capture one of them alive."

"Oh? A Starborn? You only captured one? What about the other one?" the king asked, puzzled.

“Of course we’ll keep it to go back and deliver the message,” Anthony said.

The king was too lazy to ask anything complicated. After asking which direction the other party had gone, he wanted to chase after them.

“Your Majesty, wait a moment. Use this to put it in.” Anthony pulled out a bag sewn from the Shroud of Turin: “If the first one dies after being put in, then bring back the second one.”

Anthony didn't know if the Starborn here had a forced connection with their divine star, similar to a soul connection. If the connection was broken, their consciousness would dissipate, and all that would be captured would be a white crystal.

The king nodded, leaped out of the Star Puller, and quickly chased after the two Starborn who had gone.

Four hours later, the king returned, clutching the Shroud of Turin in his hand, which seemed to contain something.

"They ran really fast. It was a struggle to catch them. We caught them alive. I beat the other one up and let him go," the king said.

"How is Your Majesty feeling? How strong are they?" Anthony asked.

The king said, "He is much stronger than those guys under the Guman Snake before. Hmm, Bai Jing's strength has doubled, but his combat level is much higher, so he is much stronger."

Anthony nodded. He knew all too well what kind of people the Starborn under the Guman Snake were. The Little Fireman God Star had never hatched, so the Starborn lacked the inheritance of combat experience. Then, they were nurtured by a parasitic vine, so it was even less likely that they would learn any combat skills.

A sealed space was quickly set up, and everyone entered the space. Only then did the king release the holy shroud from his hands.

Almost simultaneously with the release, the Shroud of Turin exploded completely, and a Starborn figure burst out of the white crystal, throwing a punch at Anthony, who was closest to him.

"I'll go!" Anthony shouted immediately, rushing forward. He was shouting for the king to hear, because the king was already preparing to intercept him. If he had been any slower, the Starborn would have been stopped by the king.

Anthony spent some time beating the Starborn to the ground, his body shattering and shrinking back into the white crystal, thus personally verifying just how high the Starborn's combat level was.

The Starborn reformed, looking at the King with surprise and doubt, then at Anthony. It was one thing for an Incremental Body to be so strong, but why was a Starborn also so powerful? Who were these people?

"You're wondering who we are, right? Rania sent you to find us, didn't she tell you who we are?" Anthony asked.
