Chapter 1836 - 835: Saint Longde (Part 4)
At the same time, Rod felt an extremely powerful field expanding, with hundreds of Soul Ripples locking onto them. Vaguely, an enormously powerful gaze was cast back from the far reaches of the starry sky.
"It’s me!"
Rhein hurriedly shouted.
"It’s me, Steelfire Rhein! Not an enemy!"
In the next instant, the powerful field descended, but the Soul Ripples locking onto them and that invisible gaze did not move.
"Captain Rhein!"
A booming voice nearly shattered Rod’s eardrums.
"Is that you? How did you come back?"
Spiritual Light scattered, and a meteor came before them. It was a burly man; seeing him almost blinded Rod. The fellow wore nothing but a loincloth, with over 360 pounds of fat swaying on his chest, black hair covering his stubby limbs, like growths formed after a million years of corruption by Black Fog.
"Amanda, it’s me, I have returned!"
Rhein shouted: "Yudora, Gavin, Joe, little Irene, Philom..."
With each name, more meteors appeared before Rod.
They were humans of varying heights, some plump, some slender, their souls vibrant with the breath of life, absolutely clear of any pollution. They all possessed strengths incomprehensible like those of Human Demons or the Black Fog Primordial Body, confirming they had stepped into the Primordial Domain, possessing the Primordial Law, nearing top-tier civilization-level strength.
"Rhein!"
A tall woman exclaimed in disbelief.
She had long blue hair, skin like snow, sapphire-like eyes, legs longer than Rod’s height, and a scale matching those of the giant-caring brethren but not exceeding the size of the loincloth.
"Why you? How did you return? We received no info, and moreover, why didn’t you inform the Royal City tower? We mistook you for a powerful Fallen invader, made me dash out before finishing in the bathroom..."
In the Dream Realm, Asa opened his eyes, glanced once: "Hmm, interesting lady, Master, get me her stuff."
After speaking, he closed his eyes again.
"Also, who is this fellow?"
"Ah, quite the handsome lad, Rhein, is he your illegitimate child?"
"Philom, stop spouting nonsense here."
"Such powerful strength, at least exceeding 30 units of Root Origin Source Law, varied types, specifications shifting, scattered distribution, it’s the Starfire Series, such strength in Saint Longde is rare indeed..."
His words weren’t finished, but everyone’s eyes brightened.
A top-tier strong individual can’t just emerge from the Void, there’s bound to be a powerful civilization behind him.
Appearing within Saint Longde, unknown to them yet as a top-tier strong individual could only mean one thing!
Rhein coughed, carefully announcing: "Everyone, your speculations are correct, let me formally introduce."
Rod had no time to stop him before he spoke out.
"He is the Trolian Miracle, King of the Sewers, Hunter of countless wives, The Unutterable Glutton, Black Barrel Rod!"
At that moment, the air solidified.
Rod was so enraged he nearly threw a punch: "Rhein, where did you gather these ghostly titles?"
Rhein proudly said: "Olivia told me; she said you took pride in them."
He turned away, speaking gravely: "Everyone, I took great risks and overcame many obstacles to return to Saint Longde. I was too exhilarated to send spiritual communication ahead."
"I have countless things to say, but not now. The support team from Royal City has yet to reach the Trolian Royal City. The situation there is extremely dire; we need to provide aid immediately."
Loincloth scratched his head, asked: "Rhein, how do we aid? Trolian is 110,000 miles away, beyond Upper Heaven Taboo and Black Domain; Prophetic City is currently focused on the Starry Sky, Abyss, and Fallen Ship, unable to spare resources, and there’s our ultimate plan..."
Blue-haired woman promptly interrupted his remarks.
"Why hasn’t the support team arrived? The Great Shepherd Leader chose an optimized path, bypassed the dangerous Upper Heaven Taboo, went through the Endless Sea, by now should have arrived."
Rhein frowned: "Didn’t you make contact?"
"Before entering the Endless Sea, all was well; after entering, spiritual communication ceased. But isn’t that normal? Who can maintain such communication inside the Endless Sea?"
"What about Spiritual Fog? The shine of Spiritual Fog?"
Blue-haired woman slightly furrowed her brows: "Perhaps they lacked time, it’s rather troublesome..."
Rhein was silent for a few seconds, said: "Let’s discuss this later; first, accompany us to the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground and inform the Great Shepherd Leader to assemble an aid team immediately."
The blue-haired woman’s eyes brightened. None present were fools, Rhein’s arrangements clearly only pointed to one possibility.
"In Trolian, there’s an Absolute Forbidden Transmission Gate?"
Rhein smiled subtly: "No; it’s someone who possesses the gate."
Everyone’s gaze instantly shifted to Rod.
"You mean..."
Before they could finish, Rhein led Rod flying toward the center of the Royal City.
