Chapter 161 My brother came last night?
Chapter 161 My brother came last night?
Yu Heng parked the electric scooter at the entrance of the residential area and returned it.
He walked downstairs to Qin Lu's house, looked up, and saw that the windows were dark.
Once upstairs, he stood at the door, took out his phone, and called Qin Lu.
"Feed?" Qin Lu's voice was a little hoarse. "What's wrong?"
"Open the door," Yu Heng said.
There was a two-second silence on the other end of the phone.
"Huh?" Qin Lu's voice became a little more awake.
"I'm at your doorstep," Yu Heng said.
"You've come to my house?" Qin Lu asked in a low voice.
"Okay," Yu Heng said. "Open the door."
"Wait a minute," Qin Lu said. About a minute later, the door opened a crack.
Qin Lu's face was revealed. The hallway lights were off, and the main lights in the room were not on either. Only a dim light shone from the direction of the bedroom.
She was wearing pajamas, her hair was messy and draped over her shoulders, and her eyes looked a little half-closed.
"Come in quickly," she stepped aside, her voice low, "Keep your voice down, Qin Ya is asleep."
Yu Heng went inside, and Qin Lu immediately closed and locked the door.
The room was very warm. Yu Heng took off his coat, hung it on the coat rack in the entryway, and then turned around to look at him.
"Why did you suddenly come?" She glanced at his face.
Yu Heng walked over with a smile and pulled her into his arms: "I'm here to check out the results of your fitness and skincare routine!"
Qin Lu stiffened at first when he pulled her into his arms.
"Let go first..." she whispered, her hand pressed against his chest. "What's wrong with you in the middle of the night?"
"I missed you." Yu Heng loosened his grip, but still held her close, looking down at her face.
Her skin does seem to be in better condition than before? Looks like those skincare products weren't a waste of money.
"Don't give me that." Qin Lu turned her face away and broke free from his embrace. "You smell like another woman."
Yu Heng didn't deny it, shrugging: "You have a dog's nose too."
His nonchalant attitude left Qin Lu at a loss for words.
She adjusted the collar of her pajamas, walked to the sofa in the living room, sat down, and reached for her glasses on the coffee table to put them on.
Qin Lu, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, was undeniably alluring.
This is the first time I've seen her wear glasses in all the time I've known her.
"Are you nearsighted?" Yu Heng asked.
"I became nearsighted in high school," Qin Lu said, adjusting her glasses. "I usually wear contact lenses to work."
"I knew it," Yu Heng chuckled, "Don't wear contacts anymore, you look better in these glasses!"
"What's so good about it?" Qin Lu glanced at her.
"She's even more attractive now," Yu Heng said, squinting. "Mature and intellectual, she makes me want to ravage her even more."
"I knew you never said anything serious," Qin Lu glared at him. "Want some water?"
"Mmm," Yu Heng responded. "Have you missed me these past few days?"
"Here you go." She handed over the water glass. "Why would I miss you? I've been longing for some peace and quiet these past few days."
I miss you but I won't look for you! Qin Lu thought with a hint of jealousy.
"I love your stubbornness," Yu Heng said, taking a sip of the drink. "How's your workout going lately?"
"It's fine as it is," Qin Lu said casually.
"Let me touch it," Yu Heng said, reaching out his hand.
"Don't touch me." Qin Lu slapped his hand away. "What are you doing here?"
Yu Heng reached out again and placed his hand on his lower abdomen from under his clothes: "I really missed you."
"Do you think I'm a child?" Qin Lu didn't take his hand away again, but instead found a comfortable position to lean into his arms. "I won't say anything or ask anything anymore."
Yu Heng said he missed her, and she was pleased. This little rascal hadn't contacted her for several days, and she didn't know why he suddenly showed up today.
"You're seeing some results," Yu Heng said, his hand still resting on her lower abdomen. "Your muscles are firmer."
"You've only practiced for a few days, what kind of results can you expect?" Qin Lu closed her eyes. "Don't try to fool me."
"I'm not kidding you," Yu Heng said. "Feel it yourself, isn't it a bit harder than before?"
Qin Lu didn't move; she wouldn't touch it, because touching it would be tantamount to admitting that she cared about it.
Yu Heng chuckled softly, moving his hand upwards until it stopped at her chest: "It seems like this area also..."
"Yu Heng," Qin Lu opened her eyes, her voice low, "Qin Ya is sleeping."
"I know," Yu Heng whispered in her ear, "so you have to keep your voice down."
"Don't go too far," she pushed him, but couldn't push him away. "What if she finds out!"
"We did it in front of her last time," Yu Heng smiled, "What's she afraid of now that she's inside?"
"That's why I'm still scared," Qin Lu glared at him. "If she had seen it, I wouldn't be able to be a mother anymore."
"Then let's not let her see," Yu Heng said, picking her up in his arms. "Let's go inside!"
-
The next morning at six o'clock, before the alarm clock rang, Yu Heng woke up.
Qin Lu was still asleep, her back to him, her hair spread out on the pillow.
He gently pulled his hand away from under her neck and sat up.
Qin Lu's glasses fell to the ground. He picked them up, wiped them, and put them on the bedside table.
He tiptoed out of bed, put on his trousers and shoes, grabbed his coat, and left the bedroom.
Qin Ya's door was still closed. He walked to the entrance, put on his shoes, opened the door, closed it gently, and quickly went downstairs.
Qin Lu opened her eyes in the bedroom.
Actually, she woke up when Yu Heng got up, but didn't move.
She turned over, facing the side where Yu Heng had slept.
I reached out and touched that spot; it was still a little warm.
Then she picked up her phone and glanced at the time.
I'll take another nap at 6:30.
When she opened her eyes again, it was already eight o'clock. She went downstairs and bought breakfast.
As he carried his things upstairs, Qin Ya came out of the bedroom just as he entered.
Qin Ya rubbed her eyes, a tuft of her hair sticking up from sleep.
Good morning, Mom.
"Go brush your teeth and wash your face." Qin Lu placed the soy milk and fried dough sticks on the dining table. "Eat after you're done."
Qin Ya stared at her for two seconds, then turned and walked towards the bathroom.
Qin Ya said "Oh" and walked towards the bathroom.
Qin Lu put breakfast on the table, stood in front of the mirror in the living room, and tucked her hair behind her ears.
She turned her head to the side and looked at her neck.
Fortunately, no trace was left.
She touched the area below her collarbone with her finger; there was a very faint red mark there, but the collar could cover it.
After confirming that there were no oversights, she walked back to the restaurant with a smile and laid out the breakfast.
Qin Ya was squeezing toothpaste in the bathroom when she heard Qin Lu humming a song.
Qin Ya narrowed her eyes; it seemed her mother was in a good mood.
Was someone here last night?
Qin Lu tore the fried dough sticks into small pieces and soaked them in her bowl of soy milk.
She picked up her chopsticks, took a piece, and put it in her mouth, chewing slowly.
After washing up, Qin Ya came out and sat down at the opposite table.
She glanced at Qin Lu, then at the breakfast on the table.
"Did my brother come last night?" Qin Ya asked directly.
"Nonsense," Qin Lu paused, her chopsticks still in her hand. "What's he doing here?"
"Then I must have misheard," Qin Ya said, taking a sip of soy milk. "I think I heard the door open in the middle of the night."
"You misheard me," Qin Lu said.
"Oh." Qin Ya didn't ask any further questions and lowered her head to eat her own food.
"When did he leave?" Qin Ya asked again.
"Good morning..." Qin Lu said, "Qin Ya, don't talk while eating or sleeping! Eat properly!"
Qin Ya pursed her lips and didn't say anything more.
It seems I guessed right.
