Chapter 13 Social Death Scene
Chapter 13 Social Death Scene
Li Yang crouched low and walked carefully, afraid of stepping on a tile and falling off. It took her half an hour to reach the roof where the ethereal cat was.
My shoulder felt cool, and when I touched it, I was surprised to find it was wet.
It looks like it's going to be quite chilly tonight.
"Meow! Your Majesty the Demon King, you've finally arrived!" Tears welled in the eyes of the ethereal cat as it lunged forward with its two front paws.
Li Yang looked up and saw a large, flying cat-shaped shadow. She was terrified and shook her head and waved her hands repeatedly, "Don't come any closer!!"
"Meow!"
But the excited ethereal cat still pounced into her arms. There was a cracking sound under her feet, and a feeling of weightlessness swept over her. Li Yangsheng looked up helplessly.
it's over...
The ethereal cat felt extremely unsteady and clung to Li Yang's chest, meowing loudly. Li Yang slapped it away, and its body immediately fell vertically into a cold water tank.
"What... Ugh, ptooey ptooey ptooey!"
From the moment Gui Luo heard the loud noise to the moment he looked up at the roof, only two seconds had passed. But as soon as he looked up, a tuft of fur stuffed into his mouth, and a heavy object fell from the water tank, splashing water all over him.
"What a coincidence? Taking a shower?"
Li Yang released her hand from her face, and the boy with a cascade of silver hair stared at her with his bright blue eyes. Li Yang wanted to look down, but her eyes were immediately covered by a large hand.
Ji Cang's voice was filled with suppressed anger, "Get out of here!"
"Get out of here right now!"
Li Yang turned to climb out of the water vat, when a cold sword was suddenly pressed against her neck. "You know the Venerable One's secret and you still want to run away?"
Gui Luo's face was gloomy, and he was still holding the struggling ethereal cat in his other hand, spitting cat hair out of his mouth from time to time.
Li Yang stopped halfway up the vat, turning around anxiously to look at the man behind her. "Can't you leaders and subordinates coordinate your stories? I don't think I saw anything. You're not going to kill me to silence me, are you?"
"Your arrival was a mistake, so what's wrong with killing you!"
Li Yang: What a philosophical statement, but she couldn't refute it... so she slunk back into the jar.
The man behind him growled again, "Get lost!"
Li Yang was furious. "Are you two crazy? One told me to get lost and the other told me to stay. Do you think I'm that kind of person?!"
She watched as Guiluo tightened his grip on the illusory cat, and weakly asked, "I won't go out, but I'll leave the vat, okay? After all, there's a difference between you and Your Excellency, we're of different genders."
"Then why don't you come out now!"
The way he was shouting infuriated Li Yang. With a swift movement, she flipped over a large vat and kicked Gui Luo in the face. "We're all human. Just because you're stronger doesn't mean you can be so arrogant. I've tolerated your shouting once, but you're really taking advantage of me!"
"You!" Gui Luo staggered two steps, just woke up and raised his sword, when Li Yang, who had somehow gotten behind him, grabbed his hair and made him wince in pain.
"You crazy girl, let me go! Or I'll kill you!"
"Come on, I'm just a worthless old woman, I'll fight you!"
Ji Cang's vision was blurry. It was already difficult enough to concentrate on controlling the raging spiritual energy, but he didn't expect that idiot Gui Luo would start a fight.
As his consciousness grew heavier, Ji Cang unleashed all his spiritual power at that moment, the powerful force shattering the vat into pieces.
"boom!"
The two people who were still fighting on the ground were also thrown far away by the powerful spiritual force until they crashed into the wall and stopped.
Because it was Gui Luo who took the fall, Li Yang's injuries were not serious. She got up and looked at Ji Cang blankly.
Ji Cang stared dangerously at Li Yang with his blue eyes. His long, loose hair flew wildly under the weight of his imposing aura, and the sound of the bells on his body as he walked towards her was like a death knell.
Li Yang immediately felt a strong sense of oppression. She quickly kicked Gui Luo awake, "Hey, what's wrong with your master? He looks like he's going to rush over and beat me to death."
Gui Luo felt like his bones were about to fall apart. When he looked up and saw this scene, he immediately jumped up and exclaimed, "Oh no! The Venerable One's consciousness has gone out of control. If we don't let him recover, we'll all be beaten to death by him!"
"That serious!?" Gui Luo had already rushed forward before Li Yang finished speaking, his hands moving swiftly and decisively. Seeing Li Yang standing there motionless, he started shouting again, "Hurry up and come help!"
"Oh, here we come."
Seeing that Gui Luo's solid attacks landed on Ji Cang without any repercussions, Li Yang suddenly suspected that her small frame might be slapped away by Ji Cang before she even got close enough to get a chance to attack.
After thinking for two seconds, she took out the needle that Granny Bao had given her, picked out the thickest one, and said, "Hey, you attract his attention and show me the back of his ear!"
Gui Luo glanced at her thick needle and said, "You brat, you're not going to kill someone with that needle, are you?!"
"Hurry up and stop talking nonsense, maybe I can still save your master!"
Guiluo had no other choice but to follow her advice and try anything, since even these useless alchemists of the human race couldn't see anything wrong with the Venerable One's condition and could only endure it each time.
Li Yang wandered around looking for an opportunity. Just as Gui Luo unexpectedly threw Ji Cang to the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw, Li Yu leaped up, straddled his body, tightened his legs to clamp his hands, and decisively inserted the needle into the acupoint behind his ear.
"Hey you..."
Gui Luo was about to stop her when she was surprised to find that Ji Cang had actually quieted down and slowly closed his eyes.
"What?" Li Yang looked at him with a puzzled expression, holding the needle. Her bright, round eyes made Gui Luo blush instantly, and she stammered, "N-nothing?"
Li Yang narrowed her eyes. "Then why don't you hurry up and get him back to bed?" As she spoke, she got off Ji Cang and kicked his butt.
"Huh? Oh oh."
Fortune changes like the wheel of luck, and some people are unaware of it.
After putting Ji Cang back on the bed, Gui Luo was shooed aside. "Get out of the way, I need to check if he's dead or not."
Gui Luo obediently stood at the foot of the bed. Seeing her professional technique, he couldn't help but admire her. "You brat, is there any way to cure my Venerable One?"
Li Yang glanced at him. "He went crazy because the moon was full and cold tonight. It was the first time I'd ever seen someone's spiritual energy suppress their blood flow."
Gui Luo was startled; she had actually figured it out!
Although His Majesty's body is human, his soul is the master of the ghost race. The soul within him, which controls ghost power, desperately wants His Majesty to return to the ghost race as soon as possible. Therefore, whenever the full moon arrives, it seizes the opportunity to stop the flow of blood in His Majesty's body. As long as the blood does not flow, the human body will die.
Although Gui Luo also wanted Ji Cang to return to the Ghost Clan as soon as possible, the Venerable One's Ghost Clan body had not been found, so he could not enter the Ghost Clan even if he went back!
"Hey! Do you want me to treat him or not?!"
Gui Luo snapped out of his daze and saw Li Yang glaring at him impatiently with his arms crossed. He thought for a moment and asked, "What did you just say?"
Li Yang's brow twitched. "I said I could help him this time, but I need him to agree to one condition. Can you make the decision for him?"
