Chapter 62 General Cleaning
Chapter 62 General Cleaning
Notis was completely unmoved and glanced at the pig-headed captain expressionlessly.
Notis: "Carolla won't hurt those women. As for the remaining pig-headed people and goblins, just kill them. It doesn't matter if you kill them all. There are plenty of them in the forest."
Like Allen, the priestess never cares about the lives of her subordinates, even if they are from the same tribe.
The pig-headed captain stammered again and said that it would be bad if the female hunter took other women with her or ran away alone.
But before he could finish his words, Notis turned around and glared at it.
A powerful aura of magic gushed out and wrapped around the priestess. Although there was no expression on her face, anger rose in her eyes and murderous intent was directed at the pig-headed man.
Notis: "Carolla is the master's loyal slave and my trusted companion! She won't run away!"
Notis' voice was firm and decisive. The pig-headed man didn't know why she suddenly got angry, so he shut up immediately in fear.
In the cave, the old priest kicked and scratched around in panic, but Corolla held him tightly with just one hand. The old goblin's throat was stuck, and he had difficulty breathing. His eyes began to become bloodshot and he was about to suffocate.
Carrying the short old priest, Corolla walked into the cave and looked around at the monsters with unfriendly eyes.
With a bang, the old priest was thrown to the ground by Corolla. He touched his neck and gasped. He was almost strangled to death by the female hunter.
Carola picked up a wooden stick, swung it like a whip, and pointed it at the old priest.
Huntress: "Goblins and pig-headed people, gather together. I say, you translate."
The old goblin was trembling all over, suspecting that she wanted to kill them all at once to prevent any escape, but he did not dare to resist. He immediately shouted loudly, asking all the monsters in the cave to come to him.
At least with more people, it would feel safer, or die later.
Corolla smiled at the women who were peeking out of the cave, indicating that it was nothing serious, and then watched the pig-headed men and goblins gather around.
The female hunter waved the stick a few times, and announced loudly with a grim expression: "Now, all of you pig-headed people and goblins listen to my command and start... the spring cleaning!"
The old priest stared in shock, wondering if he had misheard the human language.
Carola: "First of all, Pig-headed Man, tear down that shabby camp you built and clean up all the shit and urine on the ground!"
The female hunter then ordered, "Goblin, go pick up all the broken stones in the cave, pile them up, level the ground, and clean it up."
Corolla pointed a stick at a cave inside.
Carola: “Then build a food storage room there, with a kitchenette next to it.”
The stick turned in a circle, pointing to another cave.
Corolla: "We'll build a toilet there, one big and one small, and we'll also need to dig a drainage canal..."
The old priest swallowed dully and blinked his eyes.
But fortunately, it felt relieved.
Old priest: "I, I thought you were going to kill us just now..."
This old goblin didn't speak human language very well, and it even trembled, but at least it was understandable.
Carola: “Humph!”
Corolla glanced at it and said, "If you are lazy or rebellious, do you think I won't kill a few of them?"
Corolla turned around and said to the group of monsters viciously: "If any of you dare to poop and pee in the cave again, I will let it see the power of the monster hunter!"
He chopped the stick in his hand with force, and the wind whistled.
……
Another half day passed and the blue moon rose in the sky.
Alan and Notis led a group of goblins and pig-headed men and sneaked towards the human camp.
There was a valley there, which was an extension of the canyon where Alan took Notis to play "Flying Leap" last time. There was a path in it. Although it was narrow and dilapidated, it connected several nearby human villages and towns, and there were often traveling merchants passing by.
The camp was built in the woods next to the valley, with three bonfires lit. Thanks to the goblins' night vision, Alan and Notis could see clearly even from a distance.
Alan counted and found that there were twelve or thirteen tents in total. If there were two or three people living in each tent, then this group of bandits was indeed quite large in number.
However, Alan sensed through the Force that the life force inside was very chaotic. Several tents were dark and there was no sense of any living creatures.
Notis looked for a while and told Allen that there were many injured and dying people there. She saw several humans wrapped in bandages and there were also wounded people lying by the campfire.
At first she thought they were humans sleeping, but later she realized they were injured and couldn't get up because she saw someone feeding them food and water.
Alan closed his eyes and let his own Force extend out to merge and resonate with the Force that enveloped the entire camp, but he did not feel any danger.
It is indeed as Notis said, many lives are slowly fading away.
Feelings of fear, confusion, and anger permeated the human camp.
Alan could feel that there were no scouts or sentries near the camp. There were only eight or nine people in the entire camp who were still alive, and the rest were barely surviving.
Alan and Notis were both very confused. These humans had just attacked the pig-headed people not long ago and should have won a great victory at that time. How come they suffered such heavy casualties just a few days later? It seemed like they were defeated by other forces, but they couldn't tell who their enemy was.
The strange thing is, they have fallen to such a state, why haven't they left yet? This place is in the wilderness, not a place to rest and recuperate, and there are no sentinels on guard. Aren't they worried that the forces they are fighting with will come to pursue and attack them? Or is it because the casualties are so severe that they can't move and retreat? Notis pondered for a while and suggested attacking these humans.
The fact that they defeated the pig-headed men doesn't mean they are powerful, because not a single one of those pig-headed men was a named monster.
Notis glanced at the pig-headed captain lying next to her: "These guys are at best just a little stronger than ordinary humans. Corolla can defeat them all by himself, so there shouldn't be anyone in this group of humans who is stronger than Corolla."
Alan nodded.
Corolla's level is now probably that of an Emerald-level Monster Hunter. Through the Force perception just now, there is indeed no one more powerful than the female hunter here. As long as there are no adventurers and hunters above the Ruby level, they are not a threat to Dora.
Notis: "Besides, I didn't sense any trace of magic."
Notis pointed to the human camp.
Notis: "They are all so badly injured, and we are only using ordinary methods to treat them. Even if they are not priests, ordinary mages will know a few healing spells. But now there is no trace of magic fluctuations at all, which means there is no magician there at all."
