Chapter 24 The Law of the World of Dog Licking 24
At nine o'clock in the morning, Song Xun was awakened by the occasional footsteps outside.
The family always chooses one day to do a thorough cleaning, and it makes a lot of noise.
Song Xun covered his head with a quilt, but finally got up, washed up, and went downstairs to wait for his breakfast.
Breakfast was served quickly.
The aftereffects of being woken up were strong. Song Xun yawned, ate two bites, and then put his face on the dining table to wake himself up.
He was startled by a sudden knock on the table. Song Xun looked up and met Zheng Lanxing's half-smile.
Song Xun once thought that he had fallen asleep. Why did Zheng Lanxing appear at home so early in the morning?
"W-why are you here?"
"Not welcome?" Zheng Lanxing pulled a chair and sat down, and took the initiative to ask: "Why don't you come out when I asked you out?"
"No." Song Xun clenched the spoon and began to think of excuses, but he didn't have a job and didn't go out, so he couldn't think of anything reasonable. "I'm not feeling well and need to rest."
Zheng Lanxing snorted and laughed: "Why? You also broke a bone, you need to rest for a month?"
"I might have a cold. I get a headache when the wind blows."
"Chen Jinyan, didn't anyone tell you to look people in the eye when you lie?"
Song Xun had no power to resist, he let go of the spoon, supported his forehead with one hand and stood up: "I feel uncomfortable, I need to go back to the room to rest for a while."
The chair was half pushed away, and before he could take a step, he was grabbed by the collar from behind. Zheng Lanxing's sinister voice rang out: "Why are you in such a hurry to go back to the room? Is there someone hiding in there?"
This was too outrageous. Song Xun was shocked by this and turned back: "Don't talk nonsense."
"You haven't come to see me for so many days, I thought it was normal for you to fall in love with someone else." Zheng Lanxing tightened his grip on Song Xun's collar, his fingertips vaguely touching the back of his neck. Song Xun trembled and tried harder to break free: "Let go first."
Zheng Lanxing didn't let go, watching him struggling under her hands: "Why hasn't He Chong come to see you in such a long time? Last time, you blamed me for disturbing your good time. If I'm not here, you should be able to cultivate your relationship better."
Qiao Bin came over from the living room and coughed twice: "Lan Xing, stop bullying Jin Yan."
Zheng Lanxing let go of his hand, and Song Xun hurriedly wanted to run, but he heard him say, "Come with me to the living room."
Although he really wanted to go back to his room, Song Xun felt that Zheng Lanxing was really capable of doing something like kicking down doors and arresting people in other people's homes, so after weighing the pros and cons, he decided to compromise.
Zhao Huo raised the game controller and called out, "Where have you been? You're the only one missing."
Zheng Lanxing took the handle and sat next to Chen Pei.
On the other side are Zhao Huo and Shu Huan.
Qiao Bin and Song Xun sat in the corner and watched. They were both quiet people and didn't feel awkward even though they didn't talk much.
Zhao Huo yelled: "Shu Huan, you should protect me!"
"You jumped out stupidly. There's something wrong with your brain."
Compared with the two people who dislike each other, Zheng Lanxing and Chen Pei, even though they don't speak, have a very tacit understanding with each other. Sometimes, just a glance can convey information and they understand each other immediately.
Qiao Bin looked at them with a smile on his face. "It's amazing, isn't it? Chen Pei and Lan Xing have been in perfect harmony since they were young. Whether they are playing basketball or playing games, it seems like they have some kind of telepathy. Zhao Huo always jokes that they were twin brothers in their previous life."
Song Xun retorted in his heart, they are not twin brothers, they were destined to be together from the beginning of the plot, how could they not have a tacit understanding?
Looking at the two people sitting next to each other, Song Xun's previously determined ideas began to waver.
No matter how you look at it, Chen Pei and Zheng Lanxing are the most perfect match.
Zhao Huo was completely beaten and lay down dejectedly: "I don't want to play anymore, I don't want to play anymore." He threw down the controller and rolled his eyes: "Let's play something else."
Speaking of playing, Shu Huan was interested: "You tell me."
Zhao Huo: "How about truth or dare?"
Shu Huan thought it was some newfangled gadget: "Old-fashioned."
Although she was disgusted, she still cooperated with Zhao Huo in finding game tools. The two of them found a turntable from somewhere and moved everyone around on the carpet in the hall.
Song Xun admitted that he couldn't afford to play, and quietly went out the door. Shu Huan turned his eyes and asked, "Where are you going, little brother?"
"A friend asked me out." Song Xun lied.
Zhao Huo put his arm around his shoulders and led him inside: "Which friend? Just ask him to come along, it will be more lively with more people."
He was pushed to Zheng Lanxing's side, and said with tears in his eyes, "No need."
Six people sat on the carpet, and Zhao Huo was the first to raise his hand to signal that he should go first.
The arrow on the turntable spun rapidly, and finally stopped in front of Shu Huan. Before Zhao Huo could ask any questions, she decisively said, "I choose truth."
Zhao Huo curled his lips in boredom, and the first question became tricky: "Who among us do you want to date the most?"
Shu Huan looked disgusted: "No."
"No, I have to choose one."
Shu Huan looked around critically and her gaze stopped in front of Song Xun. Song Xun looked at her blankly, and after two seconds he reacted and quickly lowered his head, wishing he could hide himself.
Seeing his reaction, Shu Huan smiled, and under Zheng Lanxing's warning gaze, he changed his target: "Qiao Bin."
Zhao Huo was very unconvinced: "Why?"
"That's the next question."
This time it was Shu Huan's turn, and the one pointed at was Qiao Bin.
"Truthfully."
Not a surprising choice.
Shu Huan seemed very disappointed that Zhao Huo was not picked, and the questions he asked were very conventional.
"The most embarrassing thing I've ever done."
Qiao Bin pondered for a moment: "My junior high school classmates were fighting, and when I tried to stop the fight, I was treated as a participant and had to go on stage to read a self-criticism."
This time it's Qiao Bin's turn.
Song Xun watched the arrow spin around and unfortunately turn to himself. The only thing that made him feel relieved was that the person asking the question was Qiao Bin.
Sure enough, Qiao Bin's question was much gentler: "What is the thing you are most afraid of?"
Song Xun looked at him gratefully: "Snake."
"No." Zhao Huo stood up dissatisfiedly, "You are letting me off the hook. This is not even a problem."
Chen Pei defended his brother: "Now is not the time for you to ask questions."
Zhao Huo sat down reluctantly, staring at Song Xun with an unwilling look, and Song Xun prayed that he would not hit him on the head.
The game continued, Song Xun turned the dial and it finally pointed to Shu Huan.
"To tell you the truth." Shu Huan was not nervous at all about this, and Song Xun's questions were also mild and did not cross the line.
It was answered easily.
In the fifth round, the arrow turned towards Song Xun.
Seeing the arrow stop in her direction, Song Xun complained about her bad luck with a bitter face. She could only pray that Shu Huan would ask more normal questions for the sake of not making things difficult for her.
But it seems that this wish is of no avail.
Shu Huan had an ambiguous smile on his face: "The person closest to you, the one with whom you had the most intimate physical contact."
Obviously everyone knew who the people around Song Xun were, but she had to find a nickname, which was full of sarcasm.
Song Xun held his breath and said softly, "Hold hands."
