Chapter 1360 Leave by Yourself
Chapter 1360 Leave by Yourself
"What are you doing?"
The manager's voice was somewhat displeased and echoed in the spacious office area.
He stood at the door of the office, his brows furrowed and his eyes sharp as torches, scanning the slightly chaotic scene in front of him. His expression seemed as if he was questioning, yet also as if he was sighing helplessly.
"This is a company, a place that should be orderly, rigorous and efficient, not a bustling street market," said the manager.
"Nan Weiwei, Li Yan, the two of you should stop disturbing others' rest and come to my office!"
There was unquestionable authority in the manager's words. With a slight wave of his finger, he led the two people to his office as if conducting an invisible piece of music.
Li Mei's steps were a little hurried, with a barely perceptible cunning on her face. She took the lead and said, "Manager, this is not my fault. She was the one who started the trouble and scolded me."
Nan Weiwei,,,,,
"What did she say?" the manager asked.
"She said, she came to work, not to do odd jobs, why did she have to help us old employees do this and that every day? She was not convinced and asked us not to run errands for her anymore."
Li Mei's voice was a little low, and seemed to be a little helpless. "A few days ago, I had to attend a social event. I was too busy and couldn't spare the time to print a document, so I asked her for help. But who knew that she would directly refuse me!"
Li Mei became more and more excited as she spoke, and her tone unconsciously rose a little. "I felt very strange at the time. Isn't this how people help each other? Why wouldn't she help with such a small favor? And today, she actually quarreled with me over this matter!"
At this point, Li Mei's eyes moistened. She obviously felt that she had been greatly wronged. "I really don't understand why she treated me like this? Just because I asked her to help print a document, does she think I'm treating her like a handyman?"
After listening to this, the manager slowly raised his right hand and slightly moved it a few times. This simple action seemed to contain endless troubles.
His fingers seemed a little weak, as if they were carrying a heavy burden, and he waved them gently, as if he was shaking away the worries and troubles in his heart.
"Okay, okay," the manager said in a calm and gentle tone, "Well, I already understand the situation. Li Yan, you can go out first."
His eyes fell on Li Yan, without any blame in mind.
Nan Weiwei, haha, she would never believe anything these two people said was not true!
The manager paused for a moment, as if thinking about what to say next.
He frowned, his eyes looked serious, as if he was weighing every word.
After a while, he finally spoke: "Li Yan, you have to be more steady in the future. Don't be so impulsive. When you encounter problems, you must learn to think calmly and deal with them rationally. Impulsiveness will only make things worse, do you understand?"
Li Yan nodded slightly, swayed her waist gently, like a swaying willow catkin, and slowly walked out of the office, leaving behind a faint fragrance and a subtle back.
The manager's eyes followed her figure involuntarily until the pretty figure completely disappeared from his sight. Only then did he suddenly realize his own gaffe.
Nan Weiwei saw this and coughed a few times, with a hint of joking and warning in her voice: "Don't look, they've all gone far away, Manager, your eyes are about to fall out."
The manager suddenly came to his senses and his face instantly became serious and cold.
He turned around and looked at Nan Weiwei with a sharp gaze, his tone filled with blame and disappointment: "Nan Weiwei, you, you, an intern, actually made such a big fuss, you... you really disappoint me."
Nan frowned slightly...
"Nan Weiwei, as a newcomer, do you know how to gain a foothold in the workplace?" The manager looked like an experienced person.
Nan shrugged slightly and spread his hands, "I don't know."
"The most important thing is to learn how to get along harmoniously with colleagues and build good relationships. This is a very critical part of the workplace! I'm not lying to you, but look at yourself. You just started working not long ago, and you had an argument with a colleague, and you almost got into a fight! This is really wrong!"
"Manager, what do you want to say?" Nan Weiwei didn't want to listen to his nonsense.
"Look at yourself. You can't even handle such a simple, basic social etiquette! This is not just a problem of ability, but also a problem of attitude! With your performance, how can I trust you to complete more important tasks in the future? I have very high expectations of you! You have to know that every job is important, no matter how big or small, we need to treat it with our heart. If you can't even do such a basic thing, how can I believe that you can be competent when facing more complex and more critical tasks?"
He paused for a moment, as if thinking about how to phrase it next. Then, his voice lowered slightly, revealing a hint of tentativeness and questioning:
"I heard that you often wear expensive bracelets and carry limited edition bags in your daily life. After all, you are still so young, but you already pay so much attention to material enjoyment. This will inevitably make people question your behavior. Of course, I personally don't want to speculate about others without any basis, but there are too many rumors in this world, and it is impossible to avoid them completely."
A complicated look flashed across the manager's eyes. His brows knitted slightly, as if he was thinking about how to express his thoughts in the most appropriate way. After a while, he finally spoke:
"I know your family conditions may be very good, this is your innate advantage. In this case, you can go back home and live like a real princess, enjoying endless wealth and glory, isn't that good?"
"Look, you come to the company now and do some work like serving tea and water? If you are unhappy, everyone will be unhappy, so why bother? And, judging from your performance, you don't seem to be satisfied with this kind of work either."
The manager paused, then continued, "So, I think for everyone's sake... it would be better for you to find another job. After all, you've only been an intern for a few days, and you haven't been officially hired yet, and you haven't received your salary. If you leave now, it won't be a big loss for either of us."
Although his tone was calm, his meaning was obvious - he hoped that the intern would resign voluntarily.
After he finished speaking, the whole office seemed to fall into a brief silence. A complicated look flashed across Nan Weiwei's face.
